Market-data cutoff: October 13, 2026, 13:32 EDT (UTC−04:00). This article compares the October 12 and October 13 US trading sessions. October 13 prices are an intraday snapshot, not closing prices. Prices are in US dollars; the publication date may display October 14 in Asia.
Bumble's two-day move has two different catalysts. On Monday, BMBL repriced on reports of advanced takeover talks. On Tuesday, a signed cash merger agreement supplied a specific price: $6.05 for eligible Class A shares. The research question changed from what a bidder might offer to how far the traded price sits from that contractual payment, and what still has to happen before payment.
Market prices come from Stock Analysis; the cash consideration comes from Bumble's announcement. Percentage calculations use the displayed prices. The quoted price is time-stamped and will change.
Monday's takeover-talk report described a potential transaction of roughly $1 billion. Tuesday's company announcement described a $1.3 billion transaction. Those are successive disclosures, not interchangeable estimates, and an aggregate transaction value cannot simply be divided by a float estimate to obtain the public-share payment.
